Montgomery Place updates status of cases during this time of COVID-19
Dear friends and family,
These last weeks have been harrowing for everyone, but we are on the road to recovery. At Montgomery Place, we were blessed to have nearly three weeks of planning time before we experienced our first positive case of COVID-19.
Now, an additional three weeks later, we are happy to report that all cases of COVID-19 in independent living—there were three—are considered “recovered” because all three residents have completed their 14-day quarantine period.
Our one resident with a positive diagnosis in assisted living will achieve this same 14-day mark before the end of April. And, all other residents with the virus who are in the skilled nursing care wing have completed their quarantine.
|Independent Living||Assisted Living||Skilled Nursing Care||Staff|
|At home recovering||1||4|
|Recovering in skilled nursing care|
|Death due to COVID-19||1|
We know these numbers could change quickly. More cases could develop. Our goal is to continue to control our environment with precautions designed to mitigate any further outbreak. We need your help too. Stay vigilant. Please continue to collaborate with us as we move forward into the coming weeks.
We are in this together. Please call my mobile phone, 773-617-1317, so we can discuss your suggestions and questions. I am available any time convenient for you.
Working together, gives us strength.
