Beginning Friday, May 14th, 2021, visitors who are fully vaccinated and bring their vaccination cards with them will no longer need to have Rapid COVID-19 tests. This change is due to higher vaccination rates and lower positivity rates in the State, County and City. Of course, if those factors change, so might our policies.
Visitors – Independent Living
All are welcome!. There are no limits on the number of visitors or how long you visit. Just be sensible, especially with those who may not be vaccinated. COVID-19 is still out there!
Visitors – Assisted Living (3rd Floor)
All are welcome!. Registration is required because this is a licensed area. Please call Paulette 773-753-4566 to register your visit. There are no time limits. Masks must be worn at all times. Guests may dine with residents as long as both parties are vaccinated and guests are distanced from other residents.
Visitors – Skilled Nursing (2nd Floor)
There are a few limitations here. If a patient is not fully vaccinated, they may not have visitors for the first 14 days. Otherwise, visitors are welcome with no limits on time. Registration is required because this is a licensed area. Please call Paulette 773-753-4566 to register your visit. Visits may be in-room if there are no other patients in the room, otherwise visits will be in common areas allowing for more space. Vaccinated guests may dine with vaccinated residents when distanced from other residents.
Residents – if you are vaccinated and leave the building for overnight stays, you no longer have to have a Rapid or PCR test, or limit your activities. If you are not fully vaccinated, upon return you will be asked to monitor your symptoms and limit your exposure to others. There are no formal checks or limits, except your own.
Masks: Wear your masks over nose and mouth, wash hands frequently, limit your contact with others through social distancing.
Let’s all enjoy these next steps of re-opening from COVID-19.
